How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! If I would count them, they are more than the sand. I awake, and I am still with you. Psalm 139:17-18
Do you think you understand the vastness of God? Do you think you understand the highness of God’s thoughts? Okay, pick up a handful of sand. Now, count the grains. Now multiply that number by how many handfuls of sand there are on the beach and again by how many beaches are in the world. That is how many thoughts God has of you, specifically. Now multiply that by the population of the world, since the beginning.
That is too much for me to comprehend. My human mind cannot begin to grasp it. Yet God, loves you so much, that his thoughts outnumber that number (which I am not smart enough to know). Imagine that. Bless God today. Think about Him. Seek Him. Try to look at the world the way He looks at the world and at you. By the way, He looks at you with perfect love.
