INGREDIENTS:
· 2 ½ cups water (check package for water to rice ratio but the norm is 2.5 water to 1 rice)
· 1 cup brown rice
· 1 tsp. salt (optional)
· 1 tsp. butter (optional)
DIRECTIONS:
1. Bring water to a boil
2. Add rice, salt and butter and cover
3. Return to boil
4. Reduce heat to simmer
5. Cover
6. Simmer for 45-55 minutes until all water is absorbed
DO NOT STIR WHILE COOKING!
