Donna’s Chicken Puffs
Ingredients:
· 2 Chicken breasts de-boned and cubed (any leftover chicken or a even can of chunk chicken will do just fine)
· 6 oz. cream cheese, softened
· 6 tbsp. butter, softened
· 1/2 onion, chopped
· 3 gloves garlic, chopped and minced
· 3 cans of refrigerated crescent roll dough
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325ºF
2. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, cook chicken, onion and garlic until chicken is thoroughly cooked and lightly browned and onions and garlic are tender.
3. Place chicken mixture, cream cheese, and butter in food processor and blend until creamy
4. Unroll dough and divide each roll into pre-cut triangles
5. Place approximately 1 tbsp. of chicken mixture onto the wide part each triangle, and fold dough around chicken
6. Arrange balls on baking sheet bake in preheated oven until golden brown about 20 minutes
