Donna’s Fried Chicken
INGREDIENTS:
· 1 lb. chicken in pieces
· 2 eggs, slightly beaten
· ½ cup all-purpose flour
· ¼ cup instant potatoes
· 1 ½ tsp. seasoned salt
· 1 ½ tsp. garlic powder
· 1 ½ tsp. onion powder
· 1 ½ tsp. oregano
· ½ cup vegetable oil for frying
DIRECTIONS:
1. Heat oven to 375º Fahrenheit
2. Put egg in large shallow bowl (for dipping chicken pieces)
3. Mix together flour, potatoes and seasonings and put in another large bowl
4. Take each piece of chicken dip in and cover with eggs then place in flour and coat thoroughly
5. Place coated chicken on plate for about 3-5 minutes
6. Heat oil over medium to high heat
7. Fry chicken pieces until golden brown on each side about 2-5 minutes per side
8. Place fried chicken into baking dish
9. Bake for 30 minutes
